About the event
Kathy Bertrand, retired educator and advocate for women's leadership, will speak about the history of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. She will share a selection of artifacts donated to the archives at Bridgewater State University. These are personal items including scrapbooks uniforms, and memorabilia previously owned by Rockford Peaches (and other) players. The Maxwell Library at BSU holds many AAGPBL player collections available for research use, including the Mary Pratt Collection, the Maddy English Collection, the Dottie Green Collection, and the Helen Nordquist Collection.
