About the event
Author Eric Jay Dolin will speak about the ragtag fleet of private vessels - the privateers - and their impact on the outcome of the American Revolution. Eric is the author of 17 books which have won many awards including the John Lyman Award for U. S. Maritime History. $5 at the door; OBHS members enjoy free admission. (This lecture is supported by a grant from the Trustees of the Howard Funds.)
